Susan Winter | Birthday PMS, and Conflict Resolution
Tuesday Nov 24, 2020
Tuesday Nov 24, 2020
In today’s show, co-hosts, Nina, and Roger interview relationship expert, Susan Winter. Susan is also the bestselling author of Older Women, Younger Men.
Back in the 1990s, Susan fell in love with a man who was twenty years younger than her. What surprised Susan was the intense backlash that she had to deal with.
While our stereotypical society is quite accepting of an older man dating a younger woman, a relationship between an older woman and a younger man raises many an eyebrow.
This experience of hers inspired Susan to write her book, Older Women, Younger Men in the late 1990s.
Susan also goes on to discuss the Five Languages of Love and reveals how a failure to properly communicate with your partner can cause you to sabotage a relationship.
As well as a conversation about Nina's Birthday PMS, and how Roger & Nina can handle their conflict resolution.
Are you prone to losing your patience and snapping at your partner? Do you feel that your partner does not notice all the effort that you are putting in? Is this “lack of gratitude and expression” the cause of bitterness and rift in your relationship?
If this sounds like something that you are continuously grappling with, listening to this segment of the show will particularly help you out.
For these and many more relationship nuggets, tune in to our latest show now!

With a Ph.D. in human sexuality and extensive international experience, Jessica has also authored many books including her latest one The Ultimate Guide to Seduction and Foreplay: Techniques and Strategies for Mind-Blowing Sex (Ultimate Guide Series).

Brandon met Jessica at a bar when she was still a university student. They hit it off instantly and moved in together just 3 days later. Did Brandon have any apprehensions when he first discovered Jessica’s career choice?

So, what steps can you take to bring back excitement to your relationship?
On the flip side, Jessica shares, how your appetite for risk increases when you are in a safe space as a couple.
Additionally, in this segment of the show, Jessica and Brandon share how every couple has a “love language” through which they can flawlessly communicate their feelings for one another. Jessica shares how Brandon’s “acts of service” are a huge turn-on for her.
Like many of us, the current pandemic has turned Jessica’s life upside down. Not able to travel the world for her speaking assignments, Jessica is managing her work virtually from home. How has this new normal impacted Jessica’s emotional and physical needs?
Other topics discussed in today’s show include dealing with jealousy, and what to do when a partner feels threatened or intimidated.
